The Pasqua wine family in Verona, Italy has created an amazing dry white wine called “Hey French”. A unique blend of Garganega, pinot Blanco, and Sauvignon Blanc.

Upon opening the bottle the intense nose of freesia, honey suckle, chamomile, tiger lily, and lemon frosting delight the senses. The color is an invigorating deep golden hay with an elegant sheen.

Wow, the mouth feel is rich, full-bodied, with tastes of frozen peach, musk melon, tropical fruit, star fruit, and lime zest.

The heavy floral perfume adds a depth to the overall flavor profile. Along with a solid dose of bright lively citrus, and a long yellow fruit finish.

This wine is complex, and it continually reveals an aura of mystery with each sip. A big bold white wine and can be served with a crowd favorite “fried fish”.

Baked turkey wings, smoked almonds, baked brie with a honey drizzle, pasta primavera, cream of leek soup, garlic mussels, and veggie lasagna.

I enjoyed several glasses of Hey French with fettuccini Alfredo and portabella mushrooms. The cork is sealed in yellow wax and adds to the visual beauty of the bottle.
