I have been to “Maggiano’s” Italian restaurant several times for the delicious food, service, and cleanliness. They have an outdoor seating with plenty of shade and privacy.
Located at Kenwood Towne Centre 7875 Montgomery Road near the Kenwood Town Mall. Greeted warmly by staff and seated with a smile. The customer service is excellent, friendly, and they know the menu well.
The “crispy zucchini fritte” with a house made dip is world class and the best appetizer in the Queen city. The stuffed mushrooms run a close second with an elegant buttery taste.
The menu is classic modern Italian with generous portions and fresh ingredients. I love the chicken Marsala with mushrooms, Marsala sauce, and spaghetti.
The Eggplant Parmesan is hearty and flavorful when you’re in the mood for a culinary hug.
My friends are crazy over Mom’s Lasagna with seasoned beef, Italian sausage, ricotta, and house made marinara.
There are fish and seafood items on the menu, and the Parmesan-Crusted cod with Calabrian honey served with angel hair pasta is a winner.
Purchase an entrée and get a “for tomorrow-take-home classic pasta” at a special price. Prepared chilled so it can be warmed up later. This is a fantastic deal, and I always take advantage of it. Because I enjoy eating more than I do cooking.
There are several desserts on the menu and the chocolate layer cake is rich and yummy.
The wine list is EVERYTHING and I never resist a glass of wine!
I enjoyed a glass of rosé cava, Oregon pinot Noir, and red Italian sangria. Signature cocktails and wine by the glass or a full bottle is available.
Along with a list of spirits, imported beers, gin, rum, vodka, and domestic beers. My friend raved over the Frozen Peach Bellini made with Bacardi rum, Ruffino prosecco, and peach puree.
Happy Hour is M-F 3-7pm specials are available in the dining room and the lounge.
