HEALTH
Expanding the Reach of Community Health Workers Beyond Traditional Settings.
All-In Cincinnati Equity Coalition is committed to placing Community Health Workers (CHWs) in both traditional health care and nontraditional settings to catalyze systemic change. Our innovative approach in Justice and Housing is paving the way for impactful, community-driven health solutions.
Goals
- CHW Integration: Ensure Community Health Workers (CHWs) are integrated into both traditional and nontraditional settings.
- SOP Development: Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for CHWs in hospital settings.
Progress
- Our CHWs continue to thrive in diverse settings and we aren’t finished yet! We are now finalizing our Community Health Worker Standard Operating Practices (SOPs) to ensure consistent and high-quality care in all settings.

HOUSING
Reforming Federal Appraisal Practices for Black women. Through our Black women Appraisers Think Tank, we’re taking bold steps to address the bias in home appraisals that disproportionately affects Black women.
Working closely with Vice Mayor Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney, we are advocating for more equitable housing practices that will pave the way for fair homeownership opportunities and economic stability.
Goals
- Licensure Reform: We are actively advocating for federal changes to appraisal licensure to include the implementation of a mentorship component specifically designed to support Black women across the nation.
- Training Initiatives: Our focus is on establishing a comprehensive national training plan tailored to Black women appraisers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and support to excel in their careers.
Progress
- Our ongoing collaboration with Vice Mayor Kearney and the Think Tank is laying the groundwork for change. We are focused on creating targeted and achievable recommendations that will bring equity to the appraisal industry.

EDUCATION
Unlocking Civic Power: Voter Education for Black women.
As we gear up for Part 2 of our Voter Education efforts, the October Coalition Meeting will build on last month’s work. We will be diving deeper into the issues that affect our community on October 24. Our goal is to provide Black women with the tools they need to engage civically and understand how these issues are impacting their daily lives.
Goals
- Voter Education: Disseminate clear and impartial information through various guides and panel discussions that explain critical electoral issues in straightforward, accessible language.
- Policy Awareness: Educate on the specific issues that are on the ballot, breaking down complex policy changes and their impacts on the community to make them accessible and understandable to all.
Progress
- As the election approaches, we’re focusing on building a well-informed electorate to help Black women engage effectively in the democratic process.

ECONOMIC MOBILITY
Entrepreneurial Uplift: Connecting Policy to Business Growth
Our Economic Mobility Cohort continues to grow, and we are shifting our focus toward scaling the businesses within the cohort rather than broadening the net.
With the launch of the All-In Cincinnati Empower and Eats TV Show, we are connecting Black women entrepreneurs with the policymakers and resources they need to thrive. By advocating for capital access and showcasing success stories, we’re building momentum for real economic mobility.
Goals
- Capital Access: Advocate for policies that improve access to capital for Black women entrepreneurs, ensuring we have the resources needed to grow our businesses.
- Community Engagement: Encourage active participation in advocacy by showcasing real-life examples and success stories of Black women policymakers and entrepreneurs.
Progress
- We are excited about the launch of Empower and Eats, which will shine a spotlight on Black women-owned businesses and provide the momentum needed for these entrepreneurs to grow and scale their businesses.

JUSTICE
All-In Cincinnati Inspired from the PolicyLink Equity Summit
In 2015, a group of 25 community members attended the PolicyLink conference, and from that experience, All-In Cincinnati was born. This year, we returned to the PolicyLink Equity Summit, reigniting our commitment to the same foundational goals: advocating for policies and systems change to uplift Black women in Hamilton County and beyond.
This year’s Equity Summit inspired us deeply, reminding us of our mission as a catalyst for action. We are a policy organization at our core, working across systems to push for policies and budget advocacy that uplift all who suffer from inequities — knowing that when Black women thrive, all women thrive.
We are partnering with PolicyLink for a special convening in Cincinnati, hosted by Lenace Edwards, Community Engagement & Field Director on the Sustainable Cities team at PolicyLink. We’ll be diving into the intersection of love and policy, exploring how we can continue this work for true, long-lasting change. Stay tuned for more details!
Goal
- Fostering Community Conversations: Engage with local leaders, policymakers, and community members to build inclusive strategies rooted in love and action, driving forward the change we seek for Hamilton County.
Progress
- Inspired by the Equity Summit, our team is energized and moving forward with engaging our community in impactful policy work. We’re looking ahead to continued collaboration with PolicyLink and other partners as we prepare for this Convening in Cincinnati.
