Overview:

Hydeia Broadbent, an advocate for H.I.V. awareness, passed away at 39. She dedicated her life to educating millions and breaking stigmas around H.I.V. and Aids.

Cincinnatian Hydeia Broadbent, who was born with the H.I.V virus, recently died at the age of 39.  A few years ago, I toured across Ohio with her and Marvelynn Brown, who contacted the virus by having unprotected sex. They toured universities and colleges, promoting the Test One Million Campaign, getting the word out about stopping the spread of Aids and H.I.V.

On this tour, a number of celebrities joined the week-long campaign. Thanks to Hydeia, over her life, millions were educated, stigmas were broken and attitudes about H.I.V and Aids were changed.

Hydeia, you made a difference.
